Tina's Latest Project
A birthday quilt for the Granddaughter. She asked if Gma would make her a Lilo and Stitch quilt.
Tina used purchased panels, but then quilted the borders with scraps, and used fancy stitches for accents and the quilting.
The back panel she cut into strips and staggered them for effect. I like it. I'm sure Jo will.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

The Birthday girls mother is rather talented in her own right. She sent pics of the decals she cut on her machine for her car. Yes, she is a farm gal.
This is her daily driver. If you open the back, you'll find strands of hay from the bales she hauled home. Scattered chicken feed, oats, and grain. Yup, a true Farmen Waggon.

Thanks. They both amaze me on a regular basis. The lil'un is an artist, winning a statwide painting competition in high school, but never pursuing it. Horses...
Her focus was on riding and jumping.
She painted, drew, spun yarn, crocheted, quilted... For fun.

Yes... She has a bubba truck for hauling loads of hay, pulling the horse trailer, hauling loads of grain or feed, but that is the daily driver. Easier on gas, easier to park, and now her husband wouldn't be caught dead driving it.

Great stuff BOM, thanks for sharing. That “hay hauler” is great, really like how the critters feet “hang” over the tailgate.

Love it! I have a neighbor friend who is big into quilting. She's invited me to give it a try and would teach me, but she laughs and says the biggest problem would be getting me to stay indoors long enough.
Seriously, though, the problem now at my age is these tired old eyes. I can't handle the detail work, anymore.
