Gifted a Henry .22
Gifted a Henry .22
My cousin is a Navy Corpsman, and has been doing very well. I believe she’s a Petty Officer 2. Well… Im so proud of her I gave her a Henry .22. She was deployed last year to Africa and volunteered to go again later this year.
Here are a few pictures of her in Africa, and Texas and training in North Carolina.

That is a great gesture. Way to go.

Thanks all! If I had a kid, I would hope she/him would have turned out just as good! She’s a great gal and has her head on straight!!!
She’s in the reserves right now, and is thinking about taking the full ride.

Good Job. A number of my family was in the Navy, loved it. I chose the Corps, and a number of our family did as well. (Army, Airforce, and Coast Guard too.)
It's nice to see folks supporting their military family members. Many don't realize the sacrifices they make. When we say we have to miss a family function because we'll be on a cruise, they think, Royal Caribbean. LOL. (Not six months in harm's way.)

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

My sons were in the Armed Forces (Marines, Air Force, Air National Guard) I gifted each one with a Golden Boy (HO04v). The Marine married a Danish women and eventually moved to Denmark, unfortunately for him and fortunately for me he had to leave his with me and that started a love affair with the Henry rifle.
