You're right, a lot of older tractors were like that. A friend has an old Farmall "H" that is too.
Here's an oldy that works the field across street JD 2 popper.

I have some Carhartt seat covers for my van. But for clothing I prefer Schmidt.

When I was much younger my grandma made me a real bed roll.Treated canvas outside then wool blanket and then flannel sheet all sewed together. Big enough to lay on ground and wrap cover over. Always dry and warm.

Here's my Woolrich hunting coat that was purchased in the late 1960's. Now I wear fluorescent orange but I wore this on many hunting trips and I still wear it out in the winter. It is made like all the old Woolrich coats and the colors are still just as brilliant as when it was new. Warm and comfortable but not so good in the rain as you can imagine. I don't have the pants anymore and they wouldn't fit me anyway. I have gained a few pounds to say the least but the coat still fits.

I like Woolrich clothing. I have some knickers made by them.

Have jacket much like yours but its orange on the inside so you can reverse for hunting safety,love my Woolrich.
