I have always been a hockey fan.
Have to say...I've been especially having fun lately watching the Carolina Hurricanes this season.
They are the top rated tean in the NHL right now. They're very good this year. Been watching every game and IMO, unless they are caught tired, or just slacking off, they can't be beat.
Hope I don't have to eat those words after the playoffs start very soon.
In the mean time, GO CANES!

Check them out Jim. After all, they're right there in Raleigh. Next game, Thursday night. Third game against the Blackhawks. They won the first two of this set. They have some amazing talent. Game is on Bally sports at 7:00 EST.

I used to be really big into hockey when the Wild AHL affiliate was in Houston. The wife and I had season tickets for years. They pulled out due to issues with leasing the Toyota Center with Les Alexander, the then owner of the Rockets. I still followed hockey for a few years after that but the last couple have lost pretty much all interest.

Three more games and then the playoffs begin.
The four top teams from each division.
Really the only professional sport that has not been affected by....well, you know. Probably thanks to the Canadiens, Fins, Russians...etc.
If I was in the Raleigh area.I would have tickets, as I did for the Blackhawks when I lived in the Chicago area.
It is the only sport that I would rather watch live, than in my living room.

I agree, watching hockey live is the only way to go. We used to have season tickets for the Kalamazoo "K-Wings" which was a farm team for the Dallas Stars. It was something our whole family got into, even 2 little girls we were raising. On game nights the frilly pink dresses were replaced with jerseys and they turned into hard core hockey fans

Been a hockey fan since I was a kid. Had season tickets to the local AHL affiliate Colorado Eagles who are affiliated with the Avalanche. Its the Only pro sport I still watch. I will be routing for the Avs though instead of the Canes.

Love watching hockey, while in college used to go and watch the Stars when they were in Minneapolis, now it’s the Wings. They are a junior hockey team in the North American Hockey League. Not the pros but still fun to watch!
