The biggest thing I have found HERE, is a willingness to say, I don't know.

I learned a long time ago that it's much better to admit you don't know something than to try and bluff and ruin years of well earned credibility. Worse yet, blow a chance at a good first impression by speaking when you should have been listening.

My grandfather told me when I was a young pup:
"You can often add more to a rousing conversation by listening, than joining in."

I have used it well.

I try not to jump in unless I have something to add.

Okay, I've got one. How does one "clean" an air rifle or does it need it? I got this HW50 and don't know if there's anything I need to do it other than shoot the thing.

You should clean it when you first get it Jake. I used the Otis system to clean mine but its 22 cal. Dont use any kind of wire brush in the bore. I just used patches and my Amsoil cleaner. Ballistol will also work. If you have a small enuf Dewey coated rod that works to. No steel rods in the barrel.
