Firearm Perfection

Post by GunnyGene » Sat Oct 03, 2020 7:14 am

Sometimes I enjoy looking at the pinnacle of the gunsmiths art and craft. You may also. First tho, put any thought of cost out of your mind. The link below is to the gallery of the Johann Fanzoj company in Austria. They have been producing firearms since 1558. Enjoy.

A couple pics to get you in the mood. :)

Absolutely beautiful firearms. The workmanship in them is beyond perfection. I have never seen any thing like that before. I am amazed at the the fit they can achieve with the wood to metal inletting. The gallery photos are fantastic to look at. Thanks for posting.

It is a refreshing departure from the usual plethora of AR's and Glocks that seem to dominate the firearms world these days. ;)

These are truly Custom firearms. They only make about 200 per year. Their history and production process is also interesting.

Well said Gene.

I must say, after looking at the many fine examples on that site, it was hard to look at the couple of shotguns I moved in the man cave afterwards.

Beautiful. First time I've ever seen one of those actions. I wonder if he's got somebody apprenticing with him? I hope so.

Was wondering what one would cost. Found this, one sold at auction for $18,400

Serial # 5. Easy to remember that!

Ammo ain't cheap either, but I reckon if you can afford the rifle you can afford $5 or so per rnd.
