My nephew planning a grand move!

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Sep 29, 2020 10:11 am

After living in Va. for some years he wants to move to East Tenn. and they found a very nice place sitting on 40 acres in the mountains and has a creek with waterfall on it.
They have a contract on it and hope to sell the current home very soon. Was talking with him while over at my son's place and he and wife and daughter are very excited about the move. First thing he mentioned was setting up a shooting range!
Employed in the IT security field he can work from home no matter the location. Will pay him a visit one day if and when they get moved!

When Tina and I were first looking at moving, we were looking at a place in TN with a creek, waterfall and a swimming hole, with heavy wooded sections, rocky ledges and forty acres. It sold before we sold our place and could make an offer. Small world. :D Wonder if it's the same place? That would be funny.

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Sounds like a little piece of heaven to me. Good for him. You, too.

That sure is some beautiful country there. I love the area, visit there at times, up to Pigeon Forge a few weeks ago. My favorite place on earth is Cades Cove. Big valley nestled in the foothills of the Smokies. Love to have me a cabin back in there. I'd be one happy son of a gun.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Talked to my brother today and he told me his son's home sold within 6 hours of being on the market and he got more than the listed selling price.
So looks like he is on his way to the hills of Tennessee within the month.
