The Year I Get Things Done

All my plans for hiking, camping and traveling are on hold so I’m making the best use of staying at home.

I have a dozen projects that I’ve started and even though I bounce from one project to another I’m making huge progress and hope to complete many of them this year. Landscaping is one project and one that is never done but I will wrap a lot of loose ends. My inside electrical projects are in the final stages which will allow me to finish the painting.

I still have a few projects that I haven’t started and I’m going to keep it that way till some are done. The master bathroom needs a major remodel, the guest bathroom just needs new flooring, the laundry room needs new flooring and a new washer and dryer. Then comes the kitchen which will be by far the biggest project of all.

I wish I could take a day off and go shooting but all ranges in the state are closed. It’s bittersweet because I miss shooting (no puns please ) but it does allow me to focus on my home.

Gene, I'm doing some of the same, except on a smaller scale, I guess. Projects never seem to end for long. Just when you can see a little daylight, another pops up.

Home projects seem to go in a circle, when you finish the last one it seems the original one is ready to be addressed again. I have to do the bath and kitchen routine as well. I saved the worst of last. Hope all goes well for you.

Gene, good luck with completing your projects. I hope as you check each one off that you get that growing sense of accomplishment and contentment when they are finally done.
