All shooting ranges closed in the Netherlands :-(

Post by jkrijt » Fri Mar 20, 2020 3:58 pm

Here in the Netherlands, all shooting ranges are closed because of the corona-virus fear. Very frustrating.
Fortunately, I have another passion and that is my motorbike so I try to do small trips with my bike. Big trips is not possible because we are not allowed to visit people, all restaurants and bars are closed and the border with Belgium is only open when you have to be there for a good reason.
I hope life will return to normal soon.
The only shooting I can do now is indoor with my Diana airrifle.
Jan from The Netherlands
- Henry "Small Game" .22lr
- A few CZ rifles and a pistol
- Uberti Cattleman revolver
- Two Diana Air rifles, one in .17 (it is from 1974) and one in .22 (also old)

Sorry to hear that Jan. Nice to have another distraction in these trying times, enjoy your bike.

Our range is still open but I received an email today saying the April Muzzle-loader match is canceled due to the virus. Our first F-Class match is the first Sunday of May so we’ll see if that match takes place or not.

Enjoy the scooter time, heck it rains so much here I can't even do that.
But I can shoot... ;)
Nice to have a range right next door, or from the deck no less.

Living in the boonies, with several farmer friends, that is not an issue here. Don’t have a ‘range’, but lots of open ground.

Hoping you all get shooting time in.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
