Update. This past Wednesday we got the reminder call for the 2nd shot. Told we had until Monday to get it before they released it to give to someone else. Told us they give priority to those who have gotten the first shot for getting the 2nd. Got the 2nd shot first thing Thursday morning.

I'm glad I got them, but the second shot left my arm deeply sore for more than a week. It was tolerable, but extremely sore, especially to the touch.

The site of the shots didn't bother me. But I did not feel well for a couple of days.
My wife, with the first shot her arm was soar for a week could hardly move it and definitely not lay on it. With the 2nd shot that lasted about 3 days.

I have to wait till December to get the first shot supposed to wait a month after having the shingles.
Now I hear y'all not feeling too well after the shots so I wait till a string of rainy days to feel like crap!

I got my first Shingrix shot around a year ago, had to wait almost 6 months for the second dose. No ill effects except for a slight sore arm for a couple days.

Got the new extra-strength, senior citizen flu shot last week. I think the woman behind the pharmacy counter was messing with me, she said "Don't you know you have to be at least 65 for the extra-strength shot".

I used to get flu shots every season. Forgot one year and didn't catch anything. Skipped subsequent years since and still haven't had a cold or the flu, even though I was exposed to my wife's cold and flu several times. Anyway knock on wood.

we had our 2nd shots about 24 hours ago .... my wife's arm is really sore, mine is about like it was following the first shot .... the link below is to the official SHINGRIX website where side effects are discussed ....having seen her go through a case of the Shingles, the side effects are well worth it
