Headed for college visit #2

This is the second “official” college visit for our nearly16-yo daughter. Been to Appalachian State and today is NC State.

with me being a graduate of Western Carolina University, a historically strong rival of Appalachian State, I sure hope she prefers NCSU or most any other university ..

just curious, what area(s) of study is she considering ..

She’s still a Junior and not fully decided. She’d love to be an author, but Mom and Dad are pushing her toward more marketable majors with the idea she can also write and if it takes off she can switch to that. Right now she’s interested in Graphic Design or something in film-making (Screen writing, production or direction). She has actually shown some good talent in all these areas in school.

no telling how many times she'll change her mind over the next few years .... understood on picking a marketable major, sure hope she follows your advice .... looking forward to meeting her down the line, hopefully before she gives serious consideration to going to Boone ...
