Restock old Fox model B

Ordered a finished walnut buttstock for old 12 gauge Fox shotgun from Numrich Arms . The fit and finish was better than I expected! It matches forearm well.

That matches up quite well. Nice looking coach gun.

This gun dates to 1950, action/lockup still tight and firm, bluing still good. New stock fits me better and aligns quicker than the original. I bought it used about 30 years ago. It originally had 30" barrels. I had a mid bead installed and barrels cut to 28". My plan was to have screw in chokes installed but there was not enough metal for the broaches this particular gunsmith was using. The pattern is still fairly tight to 40 yards as is. Still a good upland gun. I was looking for a good one in 20 gauge, but couldn't find one. Right after I bought this I did find a perfect 20, and I regret not buying it to this day as it almost looked unfired.

Those were really good old guns. My neighbor had one in 20 ga. It was a shooter. Stock looks nice, matches well.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.
