Hi all! Here's a good pistol pitted against a great course. See what you think of it!

With all those rapid-fire sequences, a suspect doesn't even have time to think as the bullets come flying! It would be interesting to see some of the ME stats on how their LEOs perform on this qual. It is a demanding test.

It absolutely is. I'd be interested also in seeing their OIS statistics.

Nice shooting with the 10mm. I have that same gun in 10mm and like it alot. It hasnt seen much action but when it has its a great gun. I changed the recoil spring in mine for the heavier rounds.

He has some great videos and has one of a lever action on a modern Carbine qualification course. Good fun! I had the Rock Island MS Ultra 10mm and it is indeed a soft shooter and very accurate but I fell in love with the Springfield XDM in 10mm and it took its spot as MY 10mm.

I think it might take A Marine to make a mistake the whole world can see!

An Airman here.
Been there, done the same. Just did not have as large of an audience.

Know the tough ME re-shoot will be a good one.

1/2 way to full success. Plus you outlined the test requirements for us clearly, and that without cartoons or pictures as a guide, Marine!!

Yeah, full success. ME just got a little tougher with the shooter having to shoot the same qual test twice. That puts some extra demands for passing. It'll be interesting to see how you include that "second-round" requirement within your grid summary, Howard. Seems to me that it puts ME in a category by itself?

Although I prefer wheel guns, that 1911 really performs well. Good to hear that it's growing on you, too. Always 8-) to shoot a firearm you really like. Keep on enjoyin'.

Appreciate the re-shoot.

I'd just like to point out that pictures and cartoons would have made it much easier for me.
