Does this grip look too big on this gun?

This is 1/2 of a S&W K frame 'Football' grip laying on my High Standard 'Sentinel' .22.

They do not fit due to the difference in design but follow the contour of the frame perfectly and my plan is to make a set of grips for it based on the S&W design.

Does look big for the gun. But it also looks OK to me.

Looks ok to me.

I have a better plan.
Its hard to see but these are Pachmayr 'Gripper' grips, also for a K frame Smith.
Heck they dang near fit the gun and with a little modification could be made to work.
They are just 'black taped' on for now but feel just right on the High Standard (they seem too small and narrow on a K frame Smith)
I'll probably make wood grips based on the design of these.

Is this like a...do these grips make me look fat question? If so, hell, I don't know.

I think it is and I agree, ain't got a clue.
