Watched it earlier on your YouTube channel. The model 29 might be a great choice for a SD Officer patrolling out there all alone with backup a good ways away. I live on the east coast, but imagine Officers out in many of the low population areas needing to be ready to deal with high risk situations solo, at least up front. Paired with a good patrol rifle...

What I really enjoyed was watching that Model 29's wheel turning and turning and turning...dependable & smooth. It was also clear in those turns that you had a good handle on the DA trigger compression. Excellent revolver shooting!
Easy to see why Callahan carried one...

Having visited South Dakota recently, I can tell you they also have a fair number of very large animals wandering around there. Should one of them become a problem, a full power .44 Magnum might come in handy!

My Model 29 is a sweetheart. The action is very smooth. It has the target trigger which, in DA mode, is a little more difficult for me to control than the thinner "Combat Trigger." That was what caused me to throw the one shot at 25 yards. The shot actually fired before I was ready for it.
