Here's a lil sweetie. This is a Smith and Wesson 360j. It's a scandium model and it shoots 38 special. I grabbed it for $350 new sometime last year. It now has DeSantis clip grips on it. I like this model.

I like the black finish and the full barrel shroud.

Looks like a good carry gun. And the price is outstanding for a Smith. How is the trigger?
I have tried some Air weight models recently and the triggers were really heavy and gritty.

my wife really likes hers .... it has a Crimson Trace laser grip

the single action trigger pull on wife's is pretty good .... no creep, clean break with a light pull .... to fire it double action takes a much stronger trigger pull .... I don't know if a gunsmith can lighten up the double action trigger pull, I wouldn't want the single action to be messed with

Not bad for a compact revolver. I'd like for it to be smoothed up a bit (when I get to it). Single action isn't bad at all. DA could be smoother.

Overall, I like it and the price was unbeatable for any J, let alone a scandium model. I'd buy another. I'd also like a steel version eventually.

Nice Light J you have there. Wheel guns are my favorite handgun. Thought I'd just put in this suggestion for another possible steel revolver someday. (Well, not 100% steel. The frame is an aluminum alloy and the cylinder is steel).

I used to own this S&W Model 637 Enhanced Action in .38 Special + "P" caliber. The S&W Performance Center did an incredible job precision tuning this gun. DA trigger was very light, and the SA trigger was scary light. The original wood grips are beautifully-done in wood, too. But since I like the feel and stability of a Hogue Monogrip, I changed to those grips. And I really like the silver & black color combo. Like yours, the 637 is a great snubby for CCW. OK, just a suggestion to consider someday, since I know it's a quality revolver and really liked it.

Frankly, they all look pretty good, but then I am partial to revolvers so there may be some bias in my viewpoint.

To clarify, this is my only aluminum/scandium revolver (barrel and cylinder are nitrided steel)... It may not be my last. I do have steel revolvers... That's a different thread

That's a nice looking J frame. I didn't notice the full shroud until I read it and saw it "again". It adds something to the look.

I've never had the ti guns from them, only the aluminum alloy J's. Good deal on yours.

If you put that J frame on a good sandbag rest you will find it's way more accurate than a lot of people think or give them credit for.
Give it a try I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. A good 148gr wadcutter load will bring out the best in those guns.

Had to have a snubby after seeing a S&W Peromance Shop special. Action comes slicked up, trigger pull lightened up, bobbed hammer, DA only. Trigger face is rounded and polished. A light pocket gun you can always have with you, either as backup or a main gun. Love it.

I love my S&W 337 AirLite Ti. At only 10.5oz's empty makes for great carry.

This model 36 heavy 3´barrel would be a great off duty gun (still is a nice gun to carry in the right holster).

From a wheel gun nut, Welcome from the Show-Me-State, Trooper. Cool-looking Model 36, and it carries some nice grips.

Years ago, after a major knee surgery, the wife took me to my favorite gun shop for a get well present.
I ended up with a "lightly used" S&W M&P 340 Scandium 357 snubby. This thing is really light, easy to carry, and smooth shooting... with 38s or 38 +P. After shooting 357s your hand and wrist file an OSHA complaint.

Shooting the dang thing with full house 357 is the reason it was lightly used. The original owner shot six rounds, then traded it in on a Chiefs Special 38. Shooting 357s is downright painful... but carrying them around in this featherweight gun is sweet. You forget it's in your pocket. I shoot a cylinder of them each practice session, and center them in the target. But... I shoot fifty rounds of 38 for practice.
