its not a brand I'm familiar with .... if it performs anywhere near as well as it looks, you have a winner .... 9 mm or 45 ?

I guess I should expect no less from Henry owners.

It's a 9mm 3" barrel beauty. I'm not sure I want to fire it. Even has Crimson Trace grips. Even more reason to fire away.

I did leave it in the shop for a few weeks. Little bit of a price negotiation tactic and a bit of a risk.

I was a "be-backer" twice but used the range as the primary purpose for being there.

First saw it was like wow,...seed planted.

Second time negotiated a price. (no sleep now)

Week later, went in hoping it was gone, nope, still there. But sleep deprivation beats logic in the end.

Today went back in and made counter offer. Got accepted, filled out paper work and it's in my safe.

As I understand it, they are made in Texas which makes perfect sense looking at the logo on the slide. No genius currently living in this household.


I have read a lot of good reviews and most forum members have positive feedback. They're scarce for purchasing, I found while looking on line and comparing to the one in my LGS. This was one of a few I found including the on line auctions.

So I scooped.

I have finally taken the new STI to the range and ran about 50 rounds through it. Flawless. Range report details will be in that section if you are interested.
