I think lever rifles go really well with single action revolvers.

Sort of like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, with good bread.

Or beer with Mexican food.

He also did a holster for my Blackhawk 45 Convertible, my "bear" gun I carry when neighbors report a bear prowling in the area.

Here is a few that I have left and not sold yet ....

really enjoying the pictures and comments .... over time I've owned several single actions but traded them off a few decades ago .... back then I actively pistol hunted black bear and to a lessor degree what we called Russian Boar in the mountains of NC .... I also worked in western town tourist trap where I gave shooting demonstrations .... I had a three gun set of Ruger Blackhawk 22, 357 and 44 mag revolvers .... I did well hunting with the 44 but never did like the way the recoil rolled back in my hand .... finally let them go and went with a Redhawk 44 mag that is still my Number 1 choice for pistol hunting or plinking

No pictures, but this is exactly what I bought a short while back. Totally satisfied with it. I only wish I had more time to shoot it, lol. My shootin' area is just a 3 minute walk down back and I still have trouble finding time.

Does he sell these holsters? I have the same model Blackhawk.

Here's mine, a Cimarron Uberti 1860 Army SA Colt Richards Transition model, 8" barrel in 45 Colt. FUN to shoot!

Hopefully I can play too No SA only, but have "a couple" Dan Wesson's that are both. Actually they all are. I usually shoot SA though !! A pair of 44s

I like single actions or I think I do. I have a few more I will post later. Al

This works with 1 or 2 hand and will stop the roll and improve accuracy . The little finger and thumb will also change your POI .... And this also will make 90% of the fixed sights shoot to the POA .

RR Looks like the old bisley grips; a little longer than the ones they usually put on SAs. I for one always liked the bisley.

DWD I know the one in the top left isn't a model 29, but still I can't look at it and not think, "Did I fire 6, or only 5? To tell you the truth.........."

The Army grip fills the hand more than the smaller Navy grip on a Model P 1873 style revolver. Not quite as curved as the Bisley though.

TGR's tip works, I tried it.

I did lock my little finger under the grip as shown, never tried the thumb placement .... if somewhere down the line I guess we all migrate to what we are comfortable with .... in the semi auto area, I like a Luger style grip, don't care for a 1911 style grip .... sort of like Chevy vs Ford .... both will usually get you to the grocery store and back but some folks favor one or the other .... most of the time I cock my Redhawk and fire it single action .... I simply find the Redhawk style grip works better for me
