Have been shopping for a CZ 75 pistol and I came across one At my LGS. Single /Double with a decocker, adjustable sight and 16 +1 in 9mm. New and under $500 so I scooped it up.[attachment=0]IMG_1089.jpeg[/attachment

CZ makes high quality affordable firearms and the 75 is one of their best.

Have some chores to do then maybe will try it out. May rain which should help with the smoke. How is the smoke in your neighborhood?

The smoke is a lot better. I’ve only gone outside five minutes at a time till now. I was just outside for fifteen minutes and I feel okay.

Not only a beautiful pistol but that’s an amazing price. I see it has Hogue grips on it. I have a 75B Omega and the grips that came on it are not Hogue. Generally when I get a new (to me) handgun one of the first things i do is put Hogue grips on it. On this CZ I found the factory rubber grip is so comfortable and fits so well that I left it on. The Omega is a combination, either de-cocker or safety. I like a de-cocker so mine is in that configuration.

I’m hoping that by now you have had the chance to shoot it as I’m sure you will be very happy with it. I like your rear sight, wish mine has the same.

Smoke has been an issue here. Having to limit outdoor time to short durations. It seems a bit better today so I hope to get to the range. I like everything about this pistol including the surprising price and I am excited to try it out.

Made it to the range Sunday afternoon and ran into a CCW class that had taken over the range. Left and came back 2 hours later. They were still dawdling around but left 20 minutes later. Was getting late so I shot 50 rounds and called it a day. I was very pleased with the pistol. It ran smoothly and was very comfortable to shoot. I picked up more ammo today and plan to return tomorrow with more time to relax and shoot.

That's a great find. Congrats

I've only owned cz 75 clones. Save for the tso. I've shot a number of 75s. They had a full length dust cover 45 acp version in stainless for a while. That was one i always wanted to snag.

As it is i'm letting my bnt mkii and my jericho 941f go. Both are threaded ans suppress nicely.

Now that i've mostly switched over to red dots, i'm jonsesing for a shadow 2 with an rdo

Shooting high and left. I got it pretty close to where I want it. I am right handed and always shot right eyed. My right eye is a bit wonky right now and everything is wavy so I am shooting with my left eye. This is quite the learning curve. I am getting better but the gun is great.
