Really liked the Tank Commander that I got recently, and when I saw a new Aviator 45acp for sale, I jumped on it. I must say, these pistols are a lot of gun for the money. Both are flawless so far, with no break in period needed.
Had to have the Aviator due to the Army wings on the slide, and I like the two tone look. The Tank Commander isn’t quite as sexy, but it is a classic looking 1911.

Nice looking guns. I would love to find one with my Naval Aircrew Wings on them, but you just don't see that. I had planned to have them engraved on my Commander, but the engraver that had quoted me a price for the job, passed unexpectedly. He was going to engrave my wings, SSGT Chevrons, and the Eagle Globe and Anchor on the slide...

That would have been super cool BOM, too bad it didn’t work out.
Centaur, great looking pistols. That Tank Commander has such clean lines that it would be my favorite.
