Here’s my 1950 Colt Challenger (the 1,154th made). This gun came from the Charles Kroeger Estate Collection. Mr. Kroeger was a master gunsmith, master engraver, avid Colt collector, and lifelong member of the NMLRA.
I suppose he decided to make his $40.00 investment look just a little better. I’ve yet to see another, but assume some exist. He also added the walnut grips.
The site should be fixed. We show secure now, we should have a favicon and the picture aspect should be better.

Collecting Colts is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There’s also a negative side.

Very Nice, you can make a basic gun look pretty good if you try.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.
