I bought this Triple K "drover" holster awhile back thinking it would be good for the revolver I would get, and it fits real good. Nice and simple, the belt was bought a couple of years ago from Wild West Mercantile in Mesa AZ. Colors are close but as I oil the belt it will darken with age. I like the cross draw. Feels real natural drawing the gun. It fits the holster nice and snug.

I was a little concerned the 8" barrel might poke out the end but nope. It's good stout leather too. Good cowboy holsters; plain and functional.

It looks great, I think cross draw is the way to go with that long barreled beauty.

I have several Triple K products and they might be a simple design but they are very well made.

Agreed. My rifle scabbard is a Triple K as well. Heavy skirting leather and suede lined.

Got my Triple-K scabbard through Skinner Sights; they call it the "Quiver." I think it's the same one that Badger carries.

I use this over-the-shoulder leather scabbard for both my SGC carbine and 20-ga pump shotgun. Nice to have the versatility in a scabbard of "one-size-fits-all." The walnut oil finish on this leather is really well done. It's my first scabbard, and I'm certain the only one I'll ever need to buy.

I like your holster and description Ranch Roper. Simple and well made is a good thing.

Since you're almost over the edge, Dave...

I got my Quiver over two years ago, and at that time compared Skinner's and TripleK's prices. Skinner won out by a several $$$.
Just checked the two sites, and the same difference holds today.

It is a well-made and beautiful piece of leather. The purchase will be well worth it, and you'll get great use out of it.

in a vain attempt to act like RanchRoper, I sometimes carry my heritage RR about the property and such.

I found :

1) Even if right handed, it's a lot easier to get in and out of the truck if the gun is on your left hip.

2) I feel like I have more "control" of the gun ( can't take it away ), carrying it just to the left of my belt buckle (think Doc Holliday).

3) A longer barrel is easier (faster ?) to pull out cross draw ( Inspector Callahan ).

What else ??

Don't forget the total coolness factor of packing your sidearm like an old frontier Texas Ranger...
