Latest acquisition from Diamond D Custom Leather

Post by GunnyGene » Fri May 05, 2023 11:56 am

Yeah, this is an unabashed brag, and I expect some ego boosting comments from y'all. ;)

For my old S&W 60-10. The drop leg loop is easily removed (3 screws shown in 2nd pic) for regular belt carry. With the drop installed it's worn on the Old Fat Guy 2" belt without using belt loops on pants (1st pic) and is super comfortable that way and how I will usually wear it when I do. It won't take the place of my normal EDC but I will wear it around the property since it's easy to just strap it on and not have to fool around with threading the belt on my pants loops.

$245 for holster + drop loop + shipping. There are other options available also. Took about 6 weeks from order to delivery.

The belt (from a different source) was about $100. So figure about $350 for the complete rig.

One other thing I forgot to mention is the cut out below the trigger guard. Some may like this, others not, but it does make the draw easier. :)

Okay, ego boosting time…

Only thing prettier than that rig is the M/60 it contains. A fine pair indeed!

Very nice rig. Wouldn't mind having something like that for my 2" model 64. I might have to try and make one... leather hacker, getting better as I go. ;) The gun was carried as an off duty gun by the Department Sergeants / Chief when we still carried revolvers, and I was lucky enough to pick it up in addition to my 4" when we were allowed to buy our Service Weapons when we made the swap to the Glocks. (One of the Sergeants didn't want either of his guns.)
