Well,
My local FFL and Nighthawk dealer, just had to tell me he got this limited edition Korth in. I went to look at it and fell in love. Not only with the looks, but it's engineering, trigger, balance and grip in my hands. This will not be a CCW.

$$$ Randy.
More power to Ya Retlawman, and congratulations! I cannot see myself, even if I were very wealthy, purchasing one of those.
Enjoy that trophy.

WOW....I had to grab my shades to view the pic of that classy/glassy looking shooter! Have read about the Korth but had not heard of that one but the finish on it is at top of class. Will be looking for a good range review. Congrats on a very fine revolver!!
Question on the chrome looking muzzle ring. Is the barrel bore an insert or is that just a trim piece?

The muzzle ring is part of the one piece barrel/bore. It is highly polished 416R stainless steel. The charcoal blue shroud is on the exterior. The cylinder is also charcoal blue and the frame is color case hardened.
Correction, contacted Korth and they said the barrel is alloy carbine steel. Nighthawk has it listed as 416r stainless. C'mon Nighthawk!

Hey, to each their own.
I know what you mean. I use gloves when I handle it. I'm still not sure if I want to keep it as a prestine heirloom or take it to the range for some low round counts. My previous most expensive handgun was a Wilson Combat 1911 that I actually shoot.

My opinion is that it would be a really really bad financial decision to shoot this gun, it is indeed an heirloom and you would wreck its value. If you have the money, buy the cheap version and shoot the heck out of it. Buy a pretty glass topped wood case to display your investment.

Funny, you mention the Mongoose. I told my FFL that if he can get a 4" .357 version this summer I would be interested, for the exact reason you stated.

Those 4β guns seem to be rare and priced accordingly. Found a 5β that is used but looks unfired, with a very nice custom leather rig.
