Congrats! The 686 is an excellent revover! My 6" was my first revolver. Have owned it almost 40 years and it is still my favorite.
The 7 shot is sweet! Nice pick up. You will not regret it!

Beautiful revolver. Is that a 4" barrel? I have the Ruger SP101 357 with 4" it seems ideal for everything, except concealment. Lol. Enjoy
Haha yeah no hiding this cannon - 5" barrel and will be taking it on hikes/backpack trips. Bears are big in the PNW -
If you reload try those MB hardcast 180 gr Pugs. with 11.6-12 gr. of 2400 they would work well for trailing!
Yes I ordered some 180g gas checks and have Lil Gun (having trouble finding 2400). Also bought Grizzly hard cast bullets they claim travel around 1350 fps and over 700 ft lbs.

Yeah I just might be a revolver guy! I usually grab my Henry Levers over the ARs and now this SW really has my attention.

Congrats I have pretty much the same revolver. You should be very happy with that. IIRC our are talo exclusives.

Good choice for a trail gun. When I used to muzzleloader hunt I carried a 4” seven shot 686 for predator protection. Recently traded it for a 6” as I no longer carry it. Revolvers are the best! Yours has such a nice clean look! :D
