I have a few 357's. If i were to buy a gun specifically for my lever gun i would want it to match, IE stainless to stainless, blue to blue, nitron to nitron.
I have an old 19 that was re-barreled by smith, a 686+ 3, 686 + 5, a 627 PC, and DW 715. Out of them all, i prefer the 715 and 19. The 627 is a close 2nd to those two. The 686+'s are not bad, just not quite the equal of the others.

So as to why I like the DW 715 and the 19. Their DA triggers are smooth, consistent and a middle of the ground 8lbs or so. I am more accurate with the DW than the 19, but not much. The 627, hands down, has the best balance in rapid fire.
If i were to have any gun on me when around the property though, it is the 686 + 5". It is the one that holster is designed for. It shoots well, carries easily, and has a better in the hand feel than the shorter 3".

Good choices here. But, I'm with Headhog here; look at those Cimarron's in .357. Single actions are a hoot.
Edit: Tombstone Tactical has the Cimarron's, under revolvers, p.5. A little enabling never hurt!

As far as S&W revolvers go; check out " BigSwoll58 " on Youtube. Lots of videos and good info. I might add, his collection is beautiful!
