I did it....just ordered the pitbull of .45 ACP 1911"s and will let you guess what that could be! Hint it holds 10 rounds.
Well the recoil can't be much worse than my CA Bulldog .45 Colt can it? Have been curious and attracted to it since they came out.
Will see how the bark and bite is in about a week. Stay tuned!

Fortyshooter, How do you like your C.A. Bulldog .45? Do you handload for it maybe with some lighter bullets for less recoil?

Whole lotta power in a little package. Is that an adjustable rear on it?

Yes it is adjustable. Will see how it handles and might put a small red dot sight on it since I don't think sight paint would last long with the top ported barrel. RI did away with the front optic sight due to that issue.

Good luck with that Rockster. About 25 years ago I had the same gun, but it was made by Para Ordnance. They just called it the P10-45. The only downside, at that time, was the price of extra magazines - $50 each. Fun little 1911 and very reliable for a shorty. I bought it from a friend who had a lot of work done to it by a very good gunsmith in Georgia. In a moment of madness I traded it away for a Kimber CDP. That CDP was a jam-o-matic and I finally gave up on it and traded it.
I still really kick myself in the reared for getting rid of that P10. I think you're going to have a lot of fun with that little Rock Island.
