Here I am a day late (as usual) but here’s my modest single action family. Both acquired this year so maybe a pattern is developing??????

Ruger Wrangler 22lr.

Ruger Singel Seven .327 Fed Mag but 32 H&R’s are so much fun to shoot in it.

The 1965 Old Model Super Single Six is my favorite. I started shooting handguns when I was 18 with my first ever handgun in an OM Single Six Standard, the Standard meaning it had fixed sights. At the time, I just couldn't afford the more expensive Super with adjustable sights. Couple years back, I got a call from a gun pal who was selling guns for a collector of old Rugers. He had a new in the box Super with a 5 1/2" barrel (my favorite) that he claimed had never been fired. Whether it had or not, I didn't care, but I absolutely could not see any evidence it had, plus I fired it anyway after buying it. As with so many of those OM Rugers, the trigger on this one is excellent and, of course, it is very accurate.

A little late to the party.......
Yes it is getting crowded in the Single Action display. Had to do two pictures. One DA had to be there at the bottom S&W 25-7 45 Colt. No other place to put him. First revolver bottom row from left started the whole mess....my first SA revolver the Ruger NV .45 Colt with the stag grips.

I'm single action deprived. I've wanted one for about three years now. I believe the "fever" for a Ruger New Model Blackhawk in 357magnum began when I got my Henry Big Boy Brass in 357magnum. Hopefully it will be relieved in 2022.

Keep the faith JVogler, you'll find one. A great single action revolver. Happy New Year!

That's why I had to get mine a few years ago, price has gone up considerably. I paid the extra $ for the convertible model, a lot cheaper to shoot 9mm when your just plinking. You do know that after you get it you will then have to get a nice holster for it.
