New pistol

Post by BruniX » Mon Dec 06, 2021 4:13 am

Visiting the gunsmith to regularize a gift, a small winchester 92 in 22lr, I made the mistake of taking in hand a CZ Shadow 2, 9x19 SA.
and I loved it!
As I had just applied to start IPSC, at club, shooting,
I could not resist, and I bought it ...
handling, precision, little barrel lift, incredible precision trigger, I'm addicted ...
DSC04743.JPG
Still a bit of tuning and getting used to it, but it's well on its way to being my favorite gun.
i don't think i have ever shot something so nice except the 586 S&W ....

I'm afraid to have become a gunholic

Very nice pistol and I love CZs. I don’t own one of these but I did own a CZ 75 stainless at one time. I do own a CZ P O9 which has a 19 round magazine capacity. I kept it and got rid of the 75. The O9 shoots very well and is accurate

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

very nice choice. I picked up a used CZ TSO last year and absolutely love it. They certainly have that suck to your hand feel. I enjoy mine tremendously.

I ended up picking up a threaded barrel for mine for suppressed shooting. The pair together with a short configuration 9mm can make for an unbelievably pleasant shooter.

very beautiful gun , both of them !
and a real pleasure for the shooter's hand ...
Unfortunately, here, it is difficult to find and acquire a pistol barrel, a lot of formalities, and imported drop by drop ....

I can see that being an issue. One of the better options I did a few months ago was have some of my barrels extended with threads.

These are guns where finding a threaded barrel even aftermarket is nearly impossible.

The original sig p225/p6
Ruger P85 MKII
Jericho 941f

That may be an option that would allow you the opportunity to shoot suppressed.

Nice pistol and great choice. That's a very popular choice for action pistol shooting. There's always a reason you see and lot of these pistols at those events. They're top quality, fit shooters well and perform as designed.

Just got my wife the 9mm Shadow 2 Black/Blue (picked it up yesterday). I spent a little less and got a 9mm Sig P320 X5 Legion for myself. Hoped to take them to the range for the first time today, but it is raining all day. Maybe tomorrow.

Update from my wife's acquisition of the Shadow 2. I just ordered her a CZ 75 TSO, and I'll get the hand-me-down Shadow 2. :-)
