Any of you have one of these in .44 Special? I have one coming with the 7 1/2 inch barrel and if you reload curious as to what loads you have had good luck with. When it gets here I'm going to check it for fit and function and then see if it needs correction on the arbor length for repeated correct cylinder gap.
Right now for cast lead bullets all I have are the MB .430 bullets at 18 Bhn. Will be ordering some softer lead bullets for use with low level 44 Special loads with a 200 gr. bullet. Speaking of bullet weight... what have you found that shoots to Point of Aim?

Mine is a 45 Colt 1860 with an 1871 cartridge conversion but I'll tell you that you will love shooting the open top....very cool pistols.

I had one and sold it. I could not shoot it well and the notch in the hammer takes a big learning curve. Mine did not shoot point of aim at all. I hope you have as good of luck as RR does shooting his but he shoots everything well.
