The same seller had a DW 44 Mag 4" that did not sell, was listed to start at 999.00, I thought, too high. Was Nice though, it'll be back !!
Lots of DWs on GB, but most won't ship to Ca.

GB and Ca are for the most part a no go.

It takes a strong man to admit a weakness. Congrats on giving that beauty a good home.

I need to stop following this thread because the revolver weakness is close to becoming contagious.
Plus that "tease" picture didn't help.... Very nice-looking DW revolver!

A few years ago I came really close to buying a Freedom Arms Model 83 Premier Grade 4-3/4" .357 Magnum revolver. Was also thinking about getting a non-fluted .38 Special cylinder built for it, too. That is one quality, precision-made revolver. I'm new to the DW revolvers with your posting. What is appealing about the DW models is the interchangeable barrels.

So did I read your comments correctly that you now have 6 DW models? If so, wow!

PT, you should prob. not be reading my DW posts. You sound very close to being infected w/DWAS [Dan Wesson Acquisition Syndrome]
You are correct #6 Dans !! 5 revolvers and 1 1911. The interchangeable barrels are SWEET, but they are the BEST shooting IMHO. VERY well made, simple and accurate. 8" 357s are good to 100m and 15" 200m !! I'll try to find a pic of a 15" :o
Used in good shape you can find a 357 for 600-800 bucks depending on what's with it, maybe more. If you get to shoot one, your gone, too late.
Y'all have been warned

OK. Thanks for the DWAS warning, and suggestion that I should "not be reading your DW posts." I'll see if I can manage to do that, but cannot provide any guarantee!

Vaquero named a similar infection that rears up on our Henry Forum fairly often, similar to DWAS --- "Henryists." I've had that at times, so know what it is, especially whenever I wander around on the Henry web site.

A couple of days ago I did look through the GB listings on DW auctions. I found one that looks really cool and would be a revolver I wouldn't mind having. I don't think, however, that it has an interchangeable barrel. The auction number is 572959849, and the model is a DW 15 V in .357 Magnum. Do you know anything about this revolver model? I'm also thinking the wood grip is not the original stock, but it looks sharp in the wood bird head configuration. Anyway, I've also closed the GB web site window. I think there are chances of "infection" there, too! ;)

Have a great day.

PT, most sellers are clueless on MNs of DWs. that is a nice looking 357, it has a "combat" style grip on it. Grips & barrels all over feebay.
It is a Model 15-2 4" [no vented ba and standard underlug], 15 means adjustable rear sight. It is an interchangeable ba,
the pic is poor, but you can see slotted nut in one pic. Good price, w/0 bids ?? Ya never know !!
If this don't hook you...

BTW I've seen 4" ba's go for 300 + on ebay, I'd like to have a 4" for mine w/8" on it now.

Just picked up my DW 357 Max Super Mag 8" Model designation 40 VH8, a little plum color on frame [very common].
All in all very good shape and not used a lot, made in Monson Mass. I'd guess 79-80 :D :D :D
I put my 357 Mag 8" next to it in one pic. to see difference, now gotta get some ammo !!
