Thanks for posting Jim. I, personally am aware of these issues, however, it is great advise to those who may not be.

I had a bad habit of releasing the bolt on an AR15 with the release lever and not pulling back on the charging handle. Sometimes we just need to be told things.

Yeah, JM is definitely the master. Love that the mentioned dry firing and one possible issue, but wish he had mentioned others. I know dry firing is a hot button topic, so I'll leave it at that.

Just got back from changing my shirt. It got very wet with my drool over all the bullets and ammo on the wall behind him.

Didn’t know that. I’ll pay attention next time I’m shooting an AR.
