Working on my Rossi Mare's Leg and revolver combo.....

I was about to place an order for a nice leather shoulder holster setup for my Rossi Ranch Hand mare's leg 45 Colt but got to thinking about what I had laying around.
So I took my back packer holster I had bought some years ago for the Ranch Hand and attached a sling onto it and then used my cowboy holster belt to tie into bottom to further support it and hold it in place.
Now the great option to add the matching holster in a cross draw setup to carry one of two SA 45 Colt 6 shooters...the Ruger New Vaquero or my Taylors Running Iron not pictured. Have ammo loop on holster as well.
Nice comfortable trail setup I think and cost was zero.

That's a heck of an idea and set-up forty. Liking that. Resourcefulness at it's finest.

Nice setup and smart use of what's on hand. Money saved can be spent on components to make more ammo.
