Those grips look pretty darn good to me. Nice find.

Picked up the Herrett grips yesterday and I sure do like the way they look and feel. After the holiday is over I think I’ll head to the indoor range in Spokane and give them a run.

Before and after.

Hatch, those Herrit's look great on the 63. Congratulations.

The J frame target grips I originally posted were from an internet source. Those Herrit's inspired me to dig out the actual targets I have. I keep the Colt presentation grips on the 63 as they can take abuse outside much better. The 34 rarely sees the light of day anymore.

Again, congratulations on a super looking set of Herrit's. I think you will find them much better than the regular grips. I've tried the regulars on my four inch 63 with a Tyler t grip. The targets and the Pachmyrs fill my hand much better.

Dave, that’s a fine looking pair of J frame 22 lr revolvers. Especially the 34 with the flat latch. Those grips are spectacular for sure. Really balances out the 4” barrels in my opinion.

Thanks Hatch, I called Smith and Wesson to find out it's age years ago. I ended up speaking with Roy Jinks that day. He explained what a pre-model was to me and then dated the gun for me. We spoke about other things. All in all, he was a very nice fellow to talk with. I believe that was one of the guns I had lettered.

Roy Jinks, that’s awesome. That’s a memory to keep for sure.
