I’m in the market for a Browning Hi-Power clone and the TISAS example is very highly reviewed. I would love to have one but they are in very short supply right now. There’s one for sale on our local trader page with lots of upgrades installed so it’s too expensive for me at $1000. I wouldn’t hesitate to get a TISAS if one became available.

Gunny, that target sure isn't bad at all for first time out and mixed ammo. I believe you did well with that purchase.

Finished off the box of aluminum Blazer today (about 40rnds) mostly to just exercise the gun with fast strings of double taps. Since I only have 2 mags (that will change next week!!) I couldn't get it really hot, which is something I like to do on a new gun just to stress it some and see if anything is going to break. This stuff is pretty slow (830fps advert) out of a 5" test barrel, and likely down to around 810 or less from mine. But it cycled ok, except for one round that got stuck on the feed ramp on the 2nd magazine. Quick tap on the slide and it went in, and the remaining 2 rnds cycled normally. I consider that useful practice also.

No further issues for the remainder of the session.

Yes I will keep it am I am not afraid to take it to the range and shoot it. I bought it from a college prof in the sixties for $125 . He had been a fraud agent for the I.R.S. and carried it in a shoulder holster.
