PT, you should prob. not be reading my DW posts. You sound very close to being infected w/DWAS [Dan Wesson Acquisition Syndrome]PT7 wrote:I need to stop following this thread because the revolver weakness is close to becoming contagious.
Plus that "tease" picture didn't help....Very nice-looking DW revolver!
A few years ago I came really close to buying a Freedom Arms Model 83 Premier Grade 4-3/4" .357 Magnum revolver. Was also thinking about getting a non-fluted .38 Special cylinder built for it, too. That is one quality, precision-made revolver. I'm new to the DW revolvers with your posting. What is appealing about the DW models is the interchangeable barrels.
So did I read your comments correctly that you now have 6 DW models? If so, wow!

You are correct #6 Dans !! 5 revolvers and 1 1911. The interchangeable barrels are SWEET, but they are the BEST shooting IMHO. VERY well made, simple and accurate. 8" 357s are good to 100m and 15" 200m !! I'll try to find a pic of a 15"

Used in good shape you can find a 357 for 600-800 bucks depending on what's with it, maybe more. If you get to shoot one, your gone, too late.
Y'all have been warned
