Colt Pythons

I ordered a matte stainless steel Python with a Hogue grip and 4.25 inch barrel last year and was impressed with the fit, finish and handling. Just feels right.

.
So when I saw another 4.25 inch Python at the LGS but blued with walnut grips I had to pick it up. It was the same price as my first one so I questioned the reason. I was told it was blemished so the price was reduced $400.

. There may be a slightly matte finish on a small area in front of the cylinder but I am not sure. It followed me home. That is an attractive revolver and it feels great in my hand. Will be going back to the range with my snake guns when we get a break in the rain.

I love my Pythons. Now you need to add a .22 Diamondback to your collection.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I handled one two weeks ago at the LGS from an estate. It was pristine, tight and I liked everything except the price. Went back a couple days later with second thoughts but it was gone. Probably won't see another one like that.
