Charter arms boxer undercover 38?
Any body here had any experience with charter arms revolvers? I'm considering buying a 6 shot 38 special undercover by charter arms.

I had a bulldog 44 years ago and had no real issues, but again, years ago. I can't really comment on the quality of today's offerings.
We have a Taurus now and my wife loves it. About half the cost of the similar Smith and Wesson. Trigger was a bit heavy, but I bought a spring kit and it is a lot better. Shoots well after the trigger job, and she wasn't looking for the target gun. This is the 856 vs the Model 85, so it's a six shot vs. just 5 shots.
Test firing after the trigger job, I fired 6 shots at ten yards. They were fired double action, and fired smoothly, as quickly as I could regain a decent sight picture and roll thru the trigger pull. NOT target shooting and NOT rapid fire, if you know what I mean.
She shot enough that she carries the gun as her EDC.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I have a 5 shot 38 special Undercover. Maybe it's just me but I'm not very accurate with it. Maybe somewhat due to the small grip.

I fired one once. It was a five shot undercover like dave's. It was an older one. It shot well, but I prefer a S&W or a Colt.

I have a pair of the Bull Dogs one in 44 Special and the other 45 Colt. Maybe a bit plain and rough looking but they function and shoot fine and good for a SD revolver. I carry my 45 Colt version quite often! Have had more trouble with the big name $$$ revolvers!
