With it being hard to buy a gloss finished scope any more I used a Vari X 2 4-12X40 AO on my last purchased Grand Finale 452. I already had that scope in my safe and will look for a nice used Leupold or other quality brand in gloss finish at the shows coming up after Christmas. I did use the CZ rings that match the GF bluing and the engraving. Looks OK for now and has the thin duplex that will be good for the type of shooting I will use it for.

Factory CZ rings with the high polished bluing and engraved.

Have that same scope and love it. Yeah, whatever happened to gloss finish scopes? I understand the stealth ting, but going with a gloss scope never seemed to affect any hunting I did. Of course, back in the day, no one used camo, even for bowhunting. Guess deer were a lot stupider, then.

I found a gloss finish Leupold for my .45 BBB last year. It's the last one the LGS had. I still hunt in a pair of overhauls no camo.

JEBar, Since this one has the nicest wood over the other ones I won't be hunting with as I can use my more plain stocked one for that. This will go to the range and be used for the KYL spinner target and whatever targets we decide to shoot at the range sessions. I hope it shoots even near as well as the other GF rifles we have now. I am not buying any more Grand Finales or I may be looking for a new place to live.
