No personal experience with Chiappa but it looks like a nice rifle - and essentially a clone of the mod 39A Marlin.

I have heard that quality can be inconsistent with Chiappa, but they make a real nice looking mini-Sharps in 45 Colt or 44-40 that I would love to try.

From feedback on another forum from people that have messed with them I'm going to pass and try and find a 39m marlin just cause I want s breakdown gun. Even if it shoots great my little Henry need not fear it will get pushed to the back of the gun cabinet.....but variety is the spice of life...,😀😀😉

Best thing I have heard all week!
My JM Golden 39A is NOT for sale!
The "M" models (Mountie) are a little harder to find but they are out there.
