The wood on those guns is breathtakingly beautiful. Wow! If they shoot even close to how they look, you have a goldmine, there.

Thank you.

Just got the 1866 back from the shop. Initial impressions were a bit disapointing. But after looking at it in better light I'm thinking it was more the light and a bit of wax to buff the forearm will probably do wonders as well. The patina on the brass is gone but the rifle is back and it appears at this point to be right as rain.

Thank you and I am. This weather we have been having is terrible so at least it was gone when it's been almost impossible to do anything anyway.
