That's a most glowing write-up of what sounds like a fantastic rifle, so thanks for sharing. He writes of there being so many different versions and variations other than just caliber. Can you tell if the one he reviewed is just like yours?

Excellent article, RR, on a special and important historical rifle. Mr. Taylor really likes it, and his review is glowing.

Thanks for the link and it's a great read. I just happen to be searching and relooking all things Henry myself the last couple of days. I don't have one yet but should be getting my Henry reproduction in a few weeks. I went with the New Original Henry from Henry. So whether it's from Uberti or Henry Repeating Arms it's one of those firearms that are just plain gorgeous to look at and just truly fantastic to own and I can't wait to fire it.

I have had a coffee table book for years that is a good one. They took period museum and collector clothes and gear and show it on today's cowboys and ranchers. They have a chapter on guns with what looks like an original museum Henry.

Thanks, and I hope so. It really is the one that reignited my interest in lever guns. I may have gotten my 1866 and 1873 first but I can't imagine getting those and not getting a 1860 Henry as well. I also think about getting a 1892 as well but we"ll see. Those first three really are the ones I've always wanted most.
