My daughter and her husband have 4 of the Remington 541's. They each have a 541-S and each also have a 541-T-HB. Three of their rifles are here and I was getting ready the to mount the scope on the last THB that I found for them so they each can have one of their own. The other THB is at their place because that is the one they shoot at the matches and the one they have won matches with. The other Remington's haven't been tried there yet. He has tried his 57 Cooper and the Winchester 75 Sporter and a tricked out 10/22 but never won a match with any of the three so the T-HB is what they shoot. My daughter won two matches the first time she ever shot in a match and was shooting the T-HB. I found them a mint condition supposed to have been unfired since it left the factory and it looks like it could be. It is the nicest T-HB I have ever seen since they were new in the LGS. The last 541-S he bought is in like new condition and he almost passed on it because of some sap wood on the front and rear of the stock. It is in such great condition and hard to find when he called me that evening I told him he better grab it while he had the chance at a mint condition one. I don't like sap wood either but being a 541-S I could live with it. Here is a few pictures. Not really good pictures for some reason the lighting was not right. The two S models first. The one in the rear is scoped with a fixed 6X Leupold Compact AO. Front is a 2-7 Leupold. The one in the rear has really dark fake rose wood end cap on it. Almost looks black.

541T-HB ready to get a 3x9x33 EFR Leupold Freedom mounted on it as soon as I find a set of rings in my stash the right height.

This is the 541-S beside my CZ Grand Finale. As much as I love a 541-S I think I like the CZ better.
