until recently, we haven't purchased any firearms for well over 30 years .... long ago we settled on 30 caliber for our hunting rifles, 12 ga for shotguns, 22 LR for plinking, and 44 mag for all things related to pistols .... below is a picture of showing (top to bottom) our Remington 700 BDL 300 WBY Mag, stainless Remington 700 30-06, Remington 11-87 12 ga, Remington 1100 12 ga, Remington Model 12 (pre 1921) 22 LR .... the second picture shows a better view of the 700's, the third the 12 ga's, the last picture shows our 1970 Browning BLR 308 .... for 125 +/- yard shots, the BLR has become our rifle of choice .... the 700's, BLR, and 12ga's have been upgraded with high quality recoil pads and Mercury Recoil suppressors .... the 700's have been Mag-na-ported .... the model 12 22 LR has a peep sight in addition to the OEM sights .... all of our centerfire rifles are topped with Nikon scopes .... through decades of use of they have become old, familiar friends .... we hope our Henry levers will join them

Thanks, you have a great, quality collection of firearms. I always enjoy looking at a collection of guns like this!

kind words appreciated .... none of them are now or ever will be collector's items .... they are all good quality, mass production firearms .... as such, there are way too many out there for them to be valued as safe queens or wall hangers .... I hope the same will be true for our Henry 44 and 45-70 .... I know they are well made and I hope Henry is so successful that they produce large numbers of them

Beautiful firearms! Nice collection.
Thank you for sharing.
We always shot and shoot what we owned/own in our firearms too. Some firearms got shot more than others over time but they were used.
Take care.

it is .... hold the trigger back and it will fire as quickly as you and work the slide .... its accuracy is incredible .... many years ago I hit a quarter at 50 yards with it and I can't even see a quarter at that distance .... it was placed on a red clay bank and I could see the the reflection from the light of the sun .... its the rifle I used to teach our sons to shoot .... they were told that when they could hit an empty 22 casing at 25 yards I'd take them deer hunting .... they were able to do so within a week ..

That Browning BLR would look good in my hands.
