I have three 527 CZ's now that I never had back when I could do pictures with photobucket. Then I just gave up on trying to post pictures any more due to being dumb with computers. So now I can try to show some pictures of things I posted earlier with no pictures to show my fellow members. So lets try the CZ's. The front one is a 527 FS 222 with 3-9 Leupold that I bought my wife for her birthday. The center is a 527 FS 22 Hornet with 6X Leupold I bought from a friend. Rear is a 527 Varmint 223 with 6-18 VX-II that I got a great buy on at $399 that a guy brought back and said it didn't fit him. The two FS models have the factory hoods replaced with a Rem. 700 hood on the front rifle and a Marlin wide scan on the middle rifle. I can stand the looks of CZ's ugly hoods. No wood lottery winners in this bunch.

Here is good wood. ;) :) Remington 512 made in '65. Probably was less than $60 new.

This is exceptional wood for a cheap 22 from days of having a lot of fun with no money and didn't care.

Love them. Amazing wood on that vintage Remington. Wow!

Most, but not all, of the 527s we've had have had plain wood, but never really minded, since I love that mini-mauser action and they shoot so well. Where did you find an FS in 22 Hornet? Been seriously considering a 527 in 22 Hornet, but it's only available the American, right now.

I bought the Hornet from a friend in Ohio. We dealt back and forth for months on this rifle. We then made a deal and I made a trip out to to pick it and another gun up(Remington 870 TC Trap) and do the FFL required paper work. I am in it a little over $500 and it has dent on the edge of the checkering that I will take care of this winter. I will steam most of it out and then rechecker the damaged area. It I end up having to do the complete panel then the complete stock will get a finish job and all the checkering cut over. Sounds like fun don't it?
