Not much of a pic
But this is my scout rifle, short ,light , and quick
To point. Iam going to change the scope for a reflex red dot. For a better field of view.

You really can't beat a Mauser action.

Thanks everone
I picked this up about a. Year and ahalf ago , to replace. My 270 win. That I loved.
As soon as I get the scope or red dot I like. It will be my go ,to deer rifle.
Someone. Put a lot of work into it.
I like the milling on the last step down on the barrel
Made it 6 sided octigon from round. Different.
If I get to the range tomarrow, I will get a better pic.

It really must be a light-weight scout. How is the kick?

I have an old CZ 9822 and shoot corrosive mil-surp 8mm. Cheap ammo but a bear to clean.

I don't shoot any military ammo.
New factory ammo, or my reloads.

That would sure make the shooting more fun.

If you are in to reloading you might be surprised at how cheap reloading your own is. Especially if you neck size and full length resize every 4th or 5th reload. And you will see your accuracy improve dramatically.

I reloaded in the past but now days it easier to just shoot a few mil-surp ammo. I actually haven't shot it in about five years.

Had a bad day at the range trying to site this rifle in.
Gave up And came home. Wasted a box and a half of ammo.
The dam mounts came loose. Only suppose to tighten to 20 inch lbs.
Well this mauser won't have that happen.
Any way took some pic.m
