Taylor 9mm lever action carbine
Taylor & Company has just launched its first fully American-made firearm, the new Taylor & Company TC 73 9mm lever-action carbine. While this new 9mm lever action carbine is technically a PCC (pistol-caliber carbine) and has every right to be called as such, most shooters never associate that term with firearms that take after the original Winchester 1873 pattern lever action carbines. I'm not exactly sure what my hangup is, but I just can't wrap my head around the whole lever-gun/9mm thing. I guess it's just because my entire familiarity with that round involves compact, polymer-framed pistols. I own one of those and carry it occasionally, but never shoot it for fun.

That's a pretty good-looking rifle, though!

It is nice looking. I like the color case hardened look. But ouch way above my pay grade $2,000.

I do like the idea, but I agree with Mags. 100%.

The price is terrible, and while 9mm is interesting, i feel going with other auto-loader calibers would have been smarter.

Do a historic railroad run and used 45acp. Or if you want a regular power and mag level gun do 40sw and 10mm.

The 40sw, and the 10mm use truncated cone bullets. 9mm and 45 do in certain instances.

Its all about the cheap 9mm ammo. Way outa my check book range. But its a Taylors and that explains the price.

Nice looking gun, and glad to see it's American Made, but also do not like the 9mm thing as well as that steep price.

Fully made in America? By whom? Taylors doesn't have a factory. Taylors is an importer and having Taylor gunsmiths finish and assemble parts made in Italy or other countries outside the US does not meet the requirements of the FTC for claiming made in America.

I think maybe Talor's may just assemble them like you said.
All I know them is they are an importer and some some tuning on those.
I like the concept and the use of non conventional rounds, but
my concern is that 9mm really isn't crimped ammo.
So how well will it work in a tube magazine??

Looking at the gun a little closer I see an 1873 Winchester with a tacticool threaded barrel. Taylors trying to satisfy the cowboys and the tacticool lovers
