Rossi looking good !
Happened to see one of these online at less than 900 bucks. Looking at the pictures the wood fit looks good and how about all stainless with octagonal barrel. 44 mag this one is too. https://rossiusa.com/rifles/lever-actio ... rrel-24-in

That is looking good. The octagon barrel is very classy. Rossi has stepped up their quality in the last few years. They can't sell junk and folks are willing to pay for performance, fit, finish and overall value. I think the lever gun market is stronger than ever and it's good to see the manufacturers addressing the competition.

I own two Rossi rifles, mine are the older ones, from '05 & '07. By Puma and imported by LSI in Nevada.
Both are quite nice and shoot well, the '07 357 is the ss 24" octagon barreled model.
A pure joy to shoot. I think I have around &900 in the pair.
Neither will leave before I do.

Prices on the Rossi Ranch Hands are way up since they are out of production.

Man, those newer Rossi's are looking good! Impressed. Agree with Headhog, the lever market is looking very good as of late.

Re: Rossi looking good !
I have read a lot of posts on various gun forums of shooters with Rossi R92's that gave them excellent reviews and stated they would never part with them. I've only owned 1 Rossi R92 and it was the blued round barrel model. The action on mine was quite rough and it would eject cases into the next county. It also would not feed factory .357 ammo. Since I handload, I loaded my .357 ammo not to exceed 1.56" and it would feed fine. I refinished the stock and did a Steve Gunz action job on mine - new springs and all. Except for still not feeding factory ammo, it functioned very well after the work I performed on it.
A couple years later, I bought my Henry .357 BBS and eventually got tired of making custom ammo just for the Rossi, so I sold it. Anyone can get a lemon, whether a firearm or a automobile. I do hope the newer Rossi's are high quality, both outside and inside.

Re: Rossi looking good !
I just saw a 357 at my local gun store back in Colorado. They were asking 900.00 for it. It didnt last long. I myself choose not to own one after the problems I had with Taurus but they do look good especially the oct. barrel models.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
