Bond Arms Levergun
Bond Arms is known for producing high quality derringers .... having toured their factory and purchased one of their derringers, it came as a surprise to me that they have come out with a "modern" lever action rifle .... the video below pretty well tells the story and fills in many details

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Bond Arms Levergun
It's a very interesting concept especially in the ability to change calibers.

Re: Bond Arms Levergun
being able to switch calibers by switching barrels is standard with almost all Bond derringers so I wasn't surprised to see that feature in the lever action rifle they are coming out withShakey Jake wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 12:57 pmIt's a very interesting concept especially in the ability to change calibers.

understood on "old fashion" .... even though they do offer some solid advantages, I haven't warmed up to Henry's X-models .... its abundantly clear that a great many folks really like their looks and performance

Traditional lever gun lovers will probably side step this, but I can see it's appeal to many other shooters. I think Bond will find the right market for this rifle.

It seems well thought out and engineered. I like more traditional levers but from a practical standpoint it is great. With a 300hamr barrel you could have a rifle that is lighter and shorter than a traditional 30-30 with the same ballistics. I believe the ballistics would even be better than the 30-30 with the use of pointy bullets and it is designed to attain its velocity with a shorter barrel.

Interesting. I was thinking that it would be more compact. Well, it may appeal to some. It is good to have options.
