I have never even handled one, but I know they are some what popular.
As to the calibers use mentioned, I'd choose the 6.5,
I have no need for the other, but I own 3 rifles chambered in 35 Rem.
For a while I considered a single shot 444, but I've gotten over it.

Surely someone here has a little experience with them.
I see you asked the same question on another forum that I frequent and it hasn't drawn any attention.

No experience with the CVA. All my break open single shot experience has been in the now extinct TCs. With TC out of the game, CVA and the Henry are what's available in that kind of gun.

Between the 350 Legend and the Creedmoor, I'd also vote for the Creedmoor. It's definitely a better all around cartridge. Lots of factory ammo available, too.

Thanks forvtge info guys. I have zero arguement that the creedmore has more capabilites... but i am intriqued by the 350 legends low recoil. I have a 308 if i hunt someplace i need tp reach out a ways. 95 percent of my deer have been shot at 100 yards or less... and i dont recall ever shooying over 160 or 170 yards... just not the world i live in.... and the 350 legand is fairly inexpensive.... but putting the caliber aside.. i am still researching the gun itself. Thanks for taking time to give me some input!!!!

Here in Ohio the.350 is legal for deer but not the creedmore ( straight wall only). Lots of hunters use the .350 out to 100 to 150 yards, most don’t recommend any further. Some of the guys compare it to the.357 Max. FWIW.

FYI, the Creed is a low recoil caliber also, and the reason for purchasing one.
Most of the deer I've in the last 10-12 years were between 70-135 yds.
I have shot a couple one year in which the distance was 200 & 220 yds.
Both one shot kills with a 165 gr 30-06, and the creed would shine there for sure.

I have better suited straight walled options than the .350.

While the creedmore is low recoil its not nearly as low as the 350 legend from the research i have done.. Of course, recoil is not actually my main deal, just something i find interesting about the 350 legend. I shoot a 308 savage 99 featherweight that seems to have mild recoil to me. I will do some more pricing and thinking but i would bet the 350 legend ammo is a lot cheaper than the 6.5 stuff... im not trying to get a fuss started or make anyone think i dont see how fine the 6 5 creedmore is.... it could be i just want to try something different. .. or im just a loose nut rolling across the floor... everyone has their job to do.......

I don't have a CVA so I don't have an informed opinion for liking it. If ammo availability is an important decision criteria to you, do check. Around here 350 legend ammo is non-existent at the moment. While 6.5 Creedmoor is plentiful.
